Loop
Loop have announced that they have reformed. I saw this band a fair few times in the late 80s and the early 90s. They were a force of nature. I shall have to see what Loop 2013 have to offer.

One of my favourite bands, The Wendy Darlings have posted a new song/video. It’s bloody brilliant.
A new band from London. Bloomer. This filmed at an Odd Box night I put on.
Last Saturday was the final Standard Fare show. They played the 100 Club in London as part of Popfest. They were amazing. I was too busy being happy to be sad it was over. A few days later and I’m now a little sad.
A single released on Hozac Records. Plateaus are from San Diego. I like.
Plateaus “Do It For You” (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) from D&D Productions on Vimeo.
Got a double vinyl LP by Ela Orleans recently. ‘Tumult In Clouds’ came out on Clan Destine Records. It’s rather wonderful.
Cheer Up. Fucking Cheer up. The return of the Wolfhounds. On Odd Box. Ace Video.
This came out in 1990. See See Rider released two 12″ singles. Both of them stunning. Then they were gone. They did record a cracking album. Long available in bootleg or download form but never officially released. I believe this video was shot by Douglas Hart of The Jesus and Mary Chain.
American Analog Set. A band I was lucky to see on a few occasions. Probably 10 or more years ago. Their last studio album came out in 2006. Whether they’ll ever record again is unknown to me. But their metronomic minimal songs are still utterly wonderful to these ears.
